The NACC Cookbook- ‘Come to Our Table‘
Acknowledging that food is at the centre of culture and community, NACC supports locally grown foods, traditional harvests, and food-centered teachings through the Northern Healthy Foods Initiative (NHFI). To honour the meals that have been lovingly crafted and passed on to family and friends, NACC is proud to present the ‘Come to Our Table’ Cookbook.

The NACC ‘Come to Our Table’ Cookbook launched a limited edition of 100 copies at 2024 NACC AGM for $15.00.
Celebrate the cherished recipes of communities across the regions. Please share this information with your community councils, community websites, CAO groups, and word of mouth! Our goal is to sell 50 Community Cookbooks throughout the communities we represent. All proceeds raised through the cookbook initiative will be reinvested back into community through the Northern Healthy Foods Initiative!
How to Place NACC Cookbook Orders:
- Orders can be placed with NACC NHFI Program Coordinator, Nadine Tonn @ programnhfi@naccmanitoba.com or by phone 1-204-947-2227 Ext.2; toll-free 1-888-947-6222.
- Community orders can be picked-up by CAOs at the upcoming MNR CAO Workshop on November 20th to 21st, 2024 at the Holiday Inn Winnipeg – Airport West – 2520 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB
- Community orders can be delivered to select communities in each region by NACC Board Members after December 5th, 2024.
- Upon receipt of cookbook payment, councils will mail the total amount via cheque to: Northern Association of Community Councils 9-395 Berry Street, Winnipeg, MB R3J 1N6.
NACC will be happy to hear from those who want to share their favourite or feel good recipes with fellow community members.
