The Northern Healthy Foods Initiative (NHFI) is partnering with Green Action Centre (GAC) and Farm Credit Canada (FCC) to make composting a reality in NACC member communities in 2025.
Leading the way to a greener future are the communities of Waterhen, Crane River, and Dawson Bay, Manitoba! They have teamed up with Green Action Centre for workshops to learn more about how composting can save money, improve garden soil, and significantly reduce landfill waste in the north.
Applause to the NACC communities of Dauphin River, Dawson Bay, and Red Deer Lake for joining the composting revolution. These communities added turn-style composts to their greening toolkit with funding from Farm Credit Canada.
