Spring and Fall Community Visits

Update of Fall Visits:

In October and November, I had the opportunity to visit most of the NACC NHFI communities where I hosted gardening and food preservation workshops.  Workshop topics varied by community, based upon needs and interest. The following topics were covered:

· Meat Stew Canning

· Seed Saving

· Indoor Planters

· Jam Canning

· Gardening Tricks

· Vegetable Pickling

· Fish Composting

· Herb Preservation

I met many friendly, kind and welcoming community members during my workshops and I look forward to seeing you all again at my next visit.

If you have any suggestions and workshop topics for your community, please contact the NACC office. We would love to hear from you.
